Koh Samui
Close to the sea. Part of Samui.
Choeng Mon is a quiet corner of a working island, not a resort compound and not a retirement enclave.

A neighbourhood, not a destination.
Choeng Mon sits on the north-east of Koh Samui: a calm bay with a sandy beach, a handful of good local restaurants, small shops and daily life going on around you.
The rest of the island, markets, hospitals, cafés, the airport, is a short drive away. Arun is close to the sea, and we will not claim to be beachfront or to have private beach access.

Why the setting matters
It shows up in the ordinary day.
Warmth and outdoor living
A climate where being outside is the default: breakfast in the air, walking in the morning, swimming most of the year.
Nature close by
Sea, hills and green all around, in a landscape that stays interesting to look at from your own terrace.
Everyday practicality
Restaurants, shops, pharmacies, markets and services for normal life rather than for holidays.
An established international community
Samui has long-term European and international residents, so you are not the only person who arrived from elsewhere.
Family can actually come
Koh Samui is reachable by air from Bangkok and the region, which makes visits realistic rather than aspirational.
Practical questions
Visas, insurance and banking are individual matters and remain subject to the relevant authorities and providers. Our team can help you navigate the practical side.
